Introducing CONCORDIA from Charlie Paris

What began in childhood has resulted in a joint project since 2014: Charlie Paris, founded by friends Ambroise and Adrien in France. Their idea: to offer an alternative to the luxury watches that the two friends dream of but were unable to afford. The result is timeless, stylish and unique timepieces with a fair price-to-performance ratio.

A Young Icon

On 13th January 2019, adventurer Matthieu Tordeur completed the expedition of a lifetime: crossing Antarctica in complete autonomy over nearly 1150 km at the age of 27. In doing so, he made history as the youngest man and the first Frenchman to complete this expedition without any aids for 52 days at temperatures as low as -50 degrees. With him he carried the CONCORDIA, which has since become an icon at Maison Charlie Paris. With its double time zone, Swiss caliber Soprod C125 and a power reserve of 40 hours, it is a sporty toolwatch with an elegant twist. High-quality materials, good readability combined with the dynamic, modern silhouette make the mechanical automatic watch, named after a research station in Antarctica, an excellent all-rounder.

Design Radiance and Technology

No less than two crown innovations define the CONCORDIA GMT and underscore its status as a “professional watch”: the crown protector and the red marking on the stem, which can be used to check whether the crown is screwed down tightly. The CONCORDIA GMT is also equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel with 120 clicks. It contains a fine anodized aluminum insert with various numbers and symbols that contribute to the readability of the watch. Its marker at 12 o’clock made of Super-LumiNova® makes it a high-quality diver’s watch that complies with ISO standard 6425. The Concordia’s voluminous hands are designed to capture reflections during the day and glow at night thanks to the Super-LumiNova® additives on each hand. Readability is further enhanced by the arrow-shaped GMT hand, covered with the color reminiscent of the second time zone.

The collection is available in an automatic version with a 40 mm diameter and rotating bezel and in a simpler quartz version with a 38 mm diameter. The GMT collection is available in blue, black, smoky brown and green with an organic textured dial. All watches are numbered and available in limited editions (100 pieces available in blue, 50 pieces in black, 50 pieces in smoky brown and 50 in green).
