The new Swiss micro brand is launching a watch innovation that has never been seen before.
Having the desire to invent something new and unprecedented is what characterises Christian Moriggi and the second watch he is launching on the market. The Swiss native from Lausanne developed his passion for watch design while studying architecture in Geneva. He developed his interest further, eventually studying design in Milan. We now know that Christian Moriggi will later create a small revolution in the watch industry…
With a passion for doing things differently, Moriggi has created a watch that revolves around its hands. Watch hands rotating around a watch dial have long been a staple of the watch industry, which is why the designer has come up with his unique idea for an unagitated, clean timepiece that suits every occasion and all outfits. Based on the revolutionary concept that the hand stays in place while the dial rotates, this timepiece is designed to show the time in its purest form, without frills or too many details.
Let’s take a closer look at the novelty: The 40 mm stainless steel case is water-resistant to 100 metres and is powered by a Swiss Rhonda quartz or Selita automatic movement. The satin-finished steel dial is divided into 12 segments to display the 12 hours. The hour segments are in turn divided into quarter hours. The time is read by looking at the fixed hand, which runs from the centre of the plain dial to the traditional 3 o’clock position.
