What is personal data?
‘Personal data’ means information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person, which means all information by means of which you are identifiable. This includes, for instance, information like your first name and surname, your address and email address, your telephone number or your birthday. Information of a general nature, such as, for example, ‘age between 18 and 30 years’, by means of which your identity cannot be established is not included.
What data do we collect?
We collect your personal data when you make use of things which are offered to you personally on our websites, such as, for example, the newsletter, promotional games, or surveys which require registration using your name and email address. We also collect your personal data when you register with us in order to create a profile and sell or buy watches via our websites. This includes: first name and surname, address, town / country, email address, telephone number and password.
Security of your data
To ensure the safe transfer of data to your system we employ SSL-/TLS-encryption, you will recognise this by the address of our website starting with https://. This way we can make sure that the connection between you and us is secure and no personal data may leak to unauthorised entities.
What about IP addresses and cookies?
When you visit our websites your IP address (the identifier assigned to your PC by your Internet provider) and further information may possibly be saved on our server for technical reasons. The evaluation of such data for statistical and/or market research purposes will only be carried out in an anonymised form or using pseudonyms.
This data is stored for five years and then automatically deleted.
Our websites use cookies. Cookies are small text files which we transmit to the hard disk of your computer via your browser or other programs on the hard disk. They are there in order to save your personal settings on our websites and also allow us to analyse the use of our websites by using anonymised data in order to make the websites more interesting for you. The receipt of cookies can be blocked by your browser. The help function in most browsers’ menus explains to you how and to what extent you can block cookies. If cookies are blocked, it may be that some of the functionality of our websites cannot be displayed to you.
We use cookies that are absolutely necessary for the operation and display of our website on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. f DS-GVO in the operation and proper display of this website. We use all non-required cookies exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Abs. 1 S. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
Order processing
We use the data provided by you for the purpose of fulfilling and processing the order. We save the text of the contract and send you the order information by email. Your order information is no longer accessible on the Internet for security reasons. Your data is saved until you request to delete your user account. If you do not have or create a customer account with us, we will retain your personal data until the expiry of the regular statutory limitation period in order to be able to enforce any legal claims. The legal basis of the processing is the execution of the contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b DS-GVO or our legitimate interest in enforcing any legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Legal obligations to store you data are fulfilled independently of this.
Newsletter
When you register to receive the newsletter, your email address is used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to register for our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send you an email to the email address you provided in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within [24 hours], your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses used and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to be able to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your personal data.
The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
You can revoke your consent and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To do so, simply use the link at the end of each newsletter or contact us using the contact details above.
Mailchimp
We use the provider Mailchimp to send automated notifications about the progress of your order and our newsletter. Mailchimp is a service of The Rocket Science Group, LLC 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA 30308 USA.
Your name, email address, order number and the content of your order are transmitted. Mailchimp acts as a processor for us in the sense of Art. 28 DS-GVO, we have therefore signed an order processing agreement, which you can access under this link: Mailchimp Data Processing Addendum. In this contract, we have also agreed to use the EU standard data protection clauses.

Third party service providers, including Google, place advertisements on websites on the Internet. Third party service providers, including Google, use stored cookies in order to place advertisements on the basis of a user’s previous visits to these websites.
The IP address transmitted from your browser for the purposes of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data from Google. You can prevent the storage of cookies using appropriate settings on your browser software; however, we would like to point out that in those circumstances in some cases you will not be able to use all of the functions of our websites to the full extent. In addition, you can prevent the data related to your use of our websites which is generated by the cookie (including your IP-address) from being captured and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available at the following link (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).
